Veterinary Facilities

Digital X-Ray
Brand new modern digital x-ray facilities include a dedicated x-ray room with floating table top and high resolution viewing monitor. All areas of any size pet can be imaged to a high standard for fine detailed examination. These images will be saved to patient records and can be shown to owners or emailed to specialists for expert opinions if required.

Ultrasound
With a choice of probe size for different size patients we can perform simple scans checking for pregnancy or more complicated scans looking for more subtle medical problems. The machine is portable so pregnancy scans can be done in the consulting rooms or even taken on home visits.

Operating theatre
Our dedicated operating theatre is maintained for full sterility and is fully equipped for any small animal surgical procedures ranging from routine neutering, emergency procedures and orthopaedic surgery. We have a visiting surgeon, with a certificate in advanced surgery, for more specialist orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures.

Matt has worked with Katie Lenton BVSc CertSAS MRCVS for many years and she has operated on Matt’s own animals for the more complicated procedures.

Dental Suite
The separate dental suite is equipped with a full range of dental equipment and keeps these procedures separate from sterile operations.

Laboratory
Many blood tests can be run in-house so that test results are available within 10 minutes. This is invaluable especially in emergency situations.

Kennels
Our Kennel room has a range of kennels sizes and several large walk-in kennels so medium to large dogs have plenty of space during their stay in the practice.

Cattery
Our feline patients are housed in a completely separate ward from the dogs to reduce their stress during their stay in the practice.
